We’d like to invite you to a ‘Girls Active’ event that Move More and Active Gloucestershire are collaborating on. We’re working alongside year 9 students at The High School Leckhampton to design a day for less-active, low-confidence, pupil premium, year 7 girls. This event will aim to build confidence by taking part in some new and different activities, build their confidence and provide a positive experience of physical activity. Girls Active
Location: The High School Leckhampton
Date: Wednesday 9th April
Time: 09:00 – 15:00
Target Audience: Total of 10, year 7 students. Less active girls, low-confidence, Pupil Premium
Aim: Provide opportunities for less active girls to have a positive experience of physical activity
Themes: 1 Workshop on Girls & Women’s health and 3 activities
Need to know: please make sure students are dressed appropriately for physical activity and bring their own lunch and water (the event will be taking place indoors).
