As Physical Education and school sport specialists…
we can support primary, secondary and special schools to provide high quality PE and sporting opportunities for young people through a range of professional development options.
We directly support PE co-ordinators and teachers through professional development opportunities. However, we also extend our reach to working alongside Senior Leadership Teams and Headteachers to develop a whole school approach to PE and school sport.
The CPD has had real impact on those less confident members of staff, therefore increasing the quality of pe teaching in our school
Our staff team consists of Primary PE Curriculum Specialists and experienced teachers from both a primary and secondary PE background; we can therefore deliver a variety of bespoke CPD opportunities for school on areas such as assessment and inspection; PE Premium; schemes of work and whole staff inset.
In addition to providing support to member schools on the PE Premium, we are also commissioned by Active Gloucestershire to deliver the Creating Active Schools (CAS) Framework across the county.
Our CPD calendar is based on insight from schools. Annually, we consult with schools to understand their CPD needs and areas of interest; we combine this with intelligence from our regional and national partners to develop a comprehensive suite of events throughout the year.
