Coaching

Our coaches range from qualified primary school teachers through to recent graduates of sports coaching degrees.

Our specialist coaches work within schools to support the development and quality of both physical education and physical activity.

Our coaches range from qualified primary school teachers through to recent graduates of sports coaching degrees. Consequently, we have a broad set of expertise within the team which includes pedagogy and fundamental movement skills through to sport specific knowledge.

Teachers and teaching assistants are invited to be actively involved in sessions delivered by our coaches. Resources, including all session plans which have been delivered by the coach will be left with schools in order to implement further and make the investment sustainable. In addition, coaches are also able to deliver Sports Leadership awards and clubs for targeted groups such as SEND, health interventions and inclusion.

Our coaches also deliver on our Move More holiday camps which increases levels of continuity and reassurance for many children going from a school to community setting.

Last term we had Callum for our PE lessons. We were looking at footwork: hopping and jumping
and we got to create our own obstacle course. We had to do different stages which we were challenged with. I found the sessions were more enjoyable because we got to do alot more challenges.
