We create safe, inclusive environments to enable all children to be physically active.
we want every child, no matter their ability to have the opportunity to enjoy being physically active.
We are committed to supporting the development of inclusive sport across the county; consequently, we host the Youth Sport Trust Inclusion Lead for Gloucestershire whose role it is to:
- Train young leaders from SEN schools in order to provide inclusive leadership opportunities
- Support teachers to develop inclusive activities within their practice
- Ensure inclusion is embedded throughout the School Games competitions, including working alongside the other School Games Organisers with Gloucestershire, therefore providing meaningful competition pathways for young people
